Eastern Gray Squirrel
Sciurus carolinensis

This fellow came running through our dripper set up and flushed the birds; I shot him.  With a Canon.

Don't want to be negative here Craig, but that Canon shooter didn't seem to work very well....LOL (it appears to have got clean away with the acorn)...

He didn't stop for a chat as he's been taught not to talk with his mouth full, Craig......... Looks like he caught your 'canon' ball.......

A nice addition to your visiting birds, excellent detail and lovely bright eye!

The little guy looks pretty slim, I guess he is working on putting on a few ounces. :)

Lucky squirrel- escaped serious injury form your "shot" :). And if Michigan is like Vermont, there are almost no acorns this year.
