In my opinion, these guys and musicians are not the same as those who asked for money for drugs, they put on a show and if you like it and want it, you give something. It is in Monastiraki, the hill with the acropolis is about to the left of image and a little above

I agree! Street entertainers or street performers can be very talented and some famous musicians and singers have started out that way. The man you show here looks like he is doing a very difficult act!

Looks like a very tricky act- certainly not the beggarly type at all. Street performers can be very entertaining. I was one myself long ago and far away! (As a musician).
