We had endless rain and terrible floods all summer here in Vermont, but one small bonus was an abundance of wildflowers. These gentians usually get ruined by bugs, but this year we have an amazing crop of them with many blossoms.

There is sometimes a welcome trade off with what the weather provides and this is a beauty Cindy. Nicely done. It has a lovely feel to it.

Really love the delicate looking bloom. Depth of focus is perfect.
