JT has so much to offer, I should get up there more often...

I like your composition here but TBH I'd rather see the sky committed to star trails; here they are just a bit blurred and look unsharp rather than interesting. I liked one of the previous images where the rocks were larger in the frame, and the stars not such a prominent feature.

Eric,

I really like this shot. I like the 3D effect of the rocks set against the night sky. My son and I were just making plans to get out to JTNP next month to capture some star trail images.

I really like this shot. I don't mind that the stars are not trails at all. I like the amount of rock and sky and especially the way the sky gradates from midtone to darker blue.
