Firmware for Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX DG APO for Nikon F Firmware

Hi everyone,

I was hoping on a longshot that someone happens to have a firmware for Sigma 500mm f4.5 EX DG APO for Nikon F mount. I was able to get a good copy online however it does not come with recent firmware so it won't work on old cameras like D800 or D7100. It actually worked on Nikon 1 V1 with the adapter and old D60.

It looks like Sigma removed all support for their older lenses which is disappointing.

The F4.5 version of that lens was not user updatable for firmware. Only the F4 version was. You would have to contact Sigma and they would have to do the firmware installation for you. I have had CIGNA do that for older lenses in the past but it has been a number of years ago now.
