Canon 90D
Canon 400 f 5.6 L F 5.6 @ 1/640 ISO 2000 Hand held Natural light This is a female ruby-throated, feeding at Bee Balm wildflowers. In most cases, the hummingbird(s) only spend a second or two feeding at one flower before flying away, rarely going to any of the other ones that are also blooming. A mirrorless camera with the high frame rate, silent shutter, and the auto-focus tracking modes that they have, would be an advantage for this type of photography, I'm sure. Regardless, it's always great to see and photograph the hummingbirds, when they are here in the spring and summer. Province of Ontario, Canada image- June, 2021.
