This was shot last May. With shakey hands. I sharpened it in PS7. That's as close as I could get.

Hi Lisa!

Lovely colors here. Was tripod just not an option?

I might crop a bit from the left and top . I like the drops but they are a little close to the edge of the frame. This would be some kind of hibiscus I assume but has unusual colors. Keep them coming!

Beautiful center, I agree on the crop, or maybe going totally vertical? It doesn't seem to have camera shake to me :)

Nice exposure and cool colors. It would have been nice if the drops had been up a bit in the frame, with the camera positioned to put the pistil out of center - basically what Steve's crop suggestion does.

Thank y'all. I don't know what got into me when I uploaded this one. It's way overexposed.

Mike B., I didn't have my tripod with me.

Nice shot Lisa with brilliant colours. I would cheat here and use the lasso tool at a very wide feather and go around the darker eadges......not too close and then lighten just that part up. Not too much though because it doesn't need too much. Excellent ratio and getting right in there. Most people don't need or want closer than this so don't think you need to. The drops add so much to this and the fine perspective and details. I'm not a cropper so can't help there. BTW, the PO. opens on Wednesday our time  , lazy people LOL.

All the best waaaaay up north, keep them coming, looking good :D

Very nice Lisa, and I agree with some of the suggestions already mentioned.
A question:
Did you increase the size of this before uploading?
Are you shooting with the settings in your camera at RAW, Large JPG, Medium JPG, etc.?

Meant to ask you that question with the last e-mail you sent me, and, ............... "my bad!"
Just noticed I have not answered it yet, but could get to my question about it with this one also.

Thanks, Danny. I'll give it another try!

Mike, this picture was taken with my Olympus film camera. I get the film developed onto CDs that have a 1536 x 1037 pixel size. There was a blue outline caused from the CD program. I cut that out resized it to 600.

Whoops!
Did not notice the "fuji film" in your description.

Just from looking at the larger bubble near the bottom right, it looked almost as if the pixels were breaking apart but I see that is not the case now, and probably caused by the depth chosen and the way that the light is hitting it.

Thanks for the info Lisa, .......... and still a nice shot! :)
