Another shot from Butterfly World yesterday. I know I need to work on DOF, but they dont allow tripods and the day was extremely cloudy, so next time I'll try and do better. I promise :D

I like this! You are nice and parallel to all the important stuff. It would be hard to get DOF on that wing pointing toward the camera even at f16 and then the BG would not be this nice IMO. Really nice color.

Well, for f/5 this is great. It would be really difficult to get the near wing in focus with any setup. Great comp and I like the soft light.
Thanks for posting,

Of course I would love to see and to have more detail in the wing areas and the head, but still, this is very nice as is!! :)

It came out great for the light conditions you had that day. Nice shot.

Yeah Steve is right. That wing coming toward the camera you just have to accept that its part of macro. Steve's comment there are bang on. So....its stunning. The colours and comp are gorgeous. Would love to see a head on shots but we get stuck with where they are most times, so well done. Aren't they just gorgeous, heck you have to love nature and macro when you see shots like this. :D

All the best and keep them coming.

Danny.
