Ah yes,...one of my favorites :)  She blatantly gives misinformation about the springbrook nature center boreal owl in the comments section of this blog entry... "But no studies have been done to establish that owl populations benefit, and on the contrary, the one marked Boreal Owl fed for a season at the Springbrook Nature Center did not benefit--that bird did not return to its breeding grounds in spring and was removed from the wild population."....then later on Facebook, when I asked her to back up this statement that completely contradicts the event as described by the director of the nature center here...   http://moumn.org/loon/view_frame.php?bl ... &year=1997   Then she blamed the bad info on a local birding legend that she now has a gripe with,....then never took the misinformation down...you gotta love it!  This from a woman that has an eastern screech owl living with her that has been fed over 5000! house mice during the time it's lived with her...but that's just fine, because those mice were killed "humanely" by gassing them to death before she feeds them to her "educational" owl...
