- Autumn Brilliance -
Manning Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada
Canon 5DM3 | Canon 17-40mm f/4 | Two Exposures for Dynamic Range Hi everyone, There is a disjunct population of Alpine Larch trees in the North Cascades, part of which extends into southwestern BC. The Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Washington is a well known and absolutely beautiful place to photograph this autumn spectacle when their needles turn a vibrant gold. However, I wanted to find an area closer to home to try my luck. After searching around on google earth, I came across this tarn deep in the backcountry of Manning Provincial Park. Upon arriving, it surpassed my highest hopes. It's truly one of the most beautiful places I've visited. An enjoyable few days spent camping alone in a pristine area of wilderness! All the best, |
