I am trying to post an image in the birds forum, just like I have always done, but now it comes up with an error saying that I can't post it because it is over 250kb. I thought we were allowed to post up to 1000kb now??

Also, I just renewed my membership today and it seems to make it think that I am a new member and sent me a new password and username. There really needs to be an easier and more logical way to "renew" a membership. I am wondering if the kb limitation is because it is seeing my old profile as no longer being a member?

Tim,

Try again. I've just re-enabled your membership so you should be able to post larger images again. We've been working on several enhancements to the membership renewal process but Greg, in particular, was busy with workshops and so forth last year that 2013 disappeared before we got a chance to fully test and implement things.

Tim - fwiw I'm not sure where you got the idea that we required a new username and password. When you renew your membership is clearly states to indicate your existing user name and email address so we can match it up with your existing account which is what we did in this case. Since renewals are done manually and you submitted your information on weekend hours you normally shouldn't expect anything until the following business day. This of also spelled out on the purchase page. Nicholas happened to activate you because you sent him a PM. Where the confusion might lie is you may have changed or created a new store account which is separate from your forum/gallery membership.

Glad we got you renewed and thanks for the support.

Greg

I am having the same problem.  I am a paid member and when I upload an image it tells me no larger then 800 px or no larger than 250 KB

Looking at the site notes you're not currently an active member.

I have noticed that this has just happened to me also, after I updated my subscription on Jan 5th. I have emailed the retail address in the hope it will be sorted for me.
