The blonde tip on the tine is a bit odd, I don't recall seeing that on another moose.

This was taken as the sun was setting so it should have a slight reddish color. I've been getting more than a few comments on the colors in my images so I'm wondering if its time to recalibate the monitors. (I do PS work on one computer and use an older one for the internet.) So, comments on colors are certainly appreciated!

A very nice image...and the light is GREAT!

The colors look fine on my monitor. It looks like evening sunset light to me.

Congrats!

Hey Tim,

Since when you did take photographs of bulls this small? :)

The light rocks, and the comp works well. The blonde tip is very unusual. What's that about, do you think?

Cheers

The light and colour looks perfect on my calibrated monitor Tim and I love that wide-eyed look back as though he thinks someone is following him! 8) 8) 8) :)

I like it Tim the wide open eye is great!!!!! Love the sweet light in this image and looks great to me!!!

Can't tell much about monitor calibration other than overall brightness with this image since it is subjective. Doesn’t take long to calibrate :) Better be safe than.......

Very nice image and beautiful light. The color looks good to me. I have seen the light velvet coloration in Colorado moose late in the summer, but I don't know the cause. It sometimes shows up in bands, almost like growth rings.

This is excellent Tim. The oof grass in the bottom makes up for lack of room for virtual legs and feet. Nice catch light, love the velvet, colors are super!

Tim,
Very nice look and the color is great. I see velvet turn this way as the blood stops flowing in it prior to shedding.

Very nice light. Perhaps trying to recover some of the shadow detail would make this even better.

Over the shoulder look is great - as is that one eye that really pops out and the wonderful sunset color.

Wonderful light. The color looks good. I am with EJ on trying to get more detail in the shadowed area of the coat.
