Dumb Me, Need Help

Is there a simple way to view all of the uploaded photos one has made at NSN without having to sort through one's posts? In other words, how do I just see images that I have posted without viewing every comment I have made. Frankly, I can't figure out the search engine at NSN, never could, it is far too advanced for me.

Bill - when you use the Advanced Search there is a link to "Original Forum and Gallery Search" under Forum and Gallery Options - pick that.

In the old search template that comes up:

- put your name in the "Search for Author" field
- select "Image Galleries" in the "Search in Forums" field
- select the checkbox for "Search Within: First post of topics only" in the Search Options section

Hit "Search" and that should give you what you're looking for...

Sorry for the delay from this end - for some reason this one slipped by my inbox until Jeff replied. Thanks Jeff for the tips!

Bill this is not something that is set up in any sort of ideal fashion just yet but we're working behind the scenes to make this super easy in the future (and to hopefully display a page of thumbnails of your own posts)

The search is pretty tricky because there are so many aspects/sections to the site that we're trying to consolidate it into one place so right now it's a work in progress (but better than before!)

I welcome the idea of thumbnails of my posts, that would be simple and elegant.

Frankly, your search engine is too complex for feeble minded people like me. I have never figured out how to use it. It was made for a Geek, not an old tired photographer like me.

I do have some idea about the complexity of your site. Not easy to make modifications, especially when you are dealing with a package such as phpBB.

But, Jeff is a fantastic code writer. I wish he were on my payroll.

I appreciate all that you are doing, the site is absolutely wonderful to visit and explore.
