When I try to upload image for a forum topic I get a File Download Dialog Box....that say " upload-image.php"....when I try to save this where do I save it to? Also if I try to save it. The computer tells me I already have this file...Totally confused....

At a guess, you're using IE.

Quickest solution: stop using IE for the short term. A fix is in the works but it may not appear until tomorrow at earliest.

Steve,

As Nicholas indicated we're having a few issues (but seemingly only with some people) with IE at the moment. Microsoft loves to introduce updates to their software that breaks standards on a fairly regular basis which causes lots of people to patch their websites. So for the short term, until we can find and repair the issue, please use another browser.

As for Chrome and already being signed in that's from your last session before the new launch. If you're having sign in issues in Chrome (I'm not clear from your post if you are or not) then it's generally a cookie or sessions issue where there are conflicts between your data from the old site and the new. We recommend clearing all browser history, cached data, as well as browser cookies to clear up any issues.

You can learn how to clear you cookies and browsing history here:

Cheers Greg

Apologies if my short post sounded rude?, I was just letting Jim know I was having a few issues too. When I couldn't log in or contact NSN admin with IE, I just switched to Chrome, job done and no worries :-). I didn't think I was logged in, in Chrome (as I keep the stay logged in box unchecked)........but I suppose it's completely impossible that I wasn't signed in, in Chrome (my bad).

New look NSN looks great by the way!, among lots of things, I really like the galleries larger square thumbnails (and manual crop facility), cheers for the slicker NSN, cool!

IE9 uploading and remote-host linking should now be working. (Remote-host linking was working, for me, before, but there are now some updates that make things a bit more efficient.)
