Having had my Nikon D4 for a little over a week now, I've been having a play with the video feature.
Here is a compilation of clips taken this weekend in a small woodland in Northumberland.

I hope you enjoy it.

A good selection of clips and nicely put together too. The bird song in the background works particularly well and the music was nice and relaxing.

Very well done. Is any of the audio ambient? Did you record it? If so, I'd love to know what you used to do it. My video skills are suffering because of my audio skills.

Thank you :)
Sorry to disappoint but no the audio in this particular video isn't recorded by me. I don't have an ambience recorder although that is an investment I will soon be making. I hear good things of the Zoom H2, but I am no expert. I need to ask around.

The clips here are from a free library and I dubbed them on and mixed them about a bit.

No worries. I have the Zoom H2n as my audio recorder but really don't understand it. It is easy to use though, I just need to figure out how best to optimize what I am doing and set it up for the best quality.

So do you not think it's any good for wildlife ambience?

I haven't even tried it for that purpose. Actually, I've mostly used it to record interviews for my Master's project.
