Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Travel and Culture Gallery, week ending 5th October, 2012!E.J.'s post over in the landscape forum reminded me that i had planned to post one of my aurora shots.

during our third night in which we saw the aurora, the magical curtain of light had been dancing right above us for hours. i took this shot during a short break we needed from photographing (sounds contradictory, but you probably know what i mean).
it was the third night after new moon and all the light came from the aurora - felt like a green full moon, though ;)
