Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Photo and Digital Art Gallery, week ending 27th July, 2012!This image was taken at Horicon NWR in Wisconsin. It was slightly modified in CS4, Topaz and Fractalius using; Curves; Selective Colors; Motion Blur; Topaz Simplify and Fractalius, as well as other normal PS image adjustments.

Been busy with life, but trying to get some work done in the computer as well.

Per your request, this is the original image for "Cattails in the Wind", which just evolved as I worked it.

Horicon was my home photo location prior to moving down here. It is the largest freshwater cattail marsh in North America and has one of the largest migrating flocks of Canada Geese that visit twice a year on their trip from the Hudson Bay to points south.

This isn't the best image I have taken of the cattails, but it worked for the transformation above. :wink:

I love the sense of motion in this colorful creation Mark -- and I think I can see a few cattails in lower center. ;) A lively and creative abstract!!!
