Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Birds Gallery, week ending 27th January, 2012!-
Aside from his long beaks, this code 4 (rare in N.A.) Jacana has two sharp bone-spurs on either side of his wings, the combination should be deadly to his rivals; but I've never seen them fight each other, yet. :)

This is an excellent picture showing the bone spurs and the open beak adds to it. Also love the colours, smooth background
