Congratulations! This is the Image of the Week selection for the Flora and Macro Gallery, week ending 23rd December, 2011!Another shot of an oleander hawkmoth (Dapnhis nerii), resting on an oleander capsule- Early morning light- Cropped for composition, noise reduction, selective sharpening.

Hi

A cracking shot of this amazingly coloured moth – the simple perch is very effective, introducing some nice looking curves into the composition, while the subject has been captured in all its splendour – very nicely done
