Canon Speedlight 550EX
ISO 400
Aperature Priority

High Speed Sync -1 2/3
F2.8 @ 1/160 Sec.

The focal length was only 92 mm. when I took this shot and besides being able to clearly see his cavity upper left, I can definitely say that at this close range when he opened his mouth, his breath was definitely funky

"his breath was definitely funky" ROFL. Definitely needs to see his dental hygienist! The detail in the tongue and the lines of the whiskers really draw my eye into the shot. I'm surprised you have as much DOF as you do at 2.8 but it works well. Nicely captured - but every time I look back at the shot I have to suppress a yawn.

Harvey,

This is a very cool shot. This cat definitely needs some dental attention though. I too am really drawn by the detail in the tongue and the whiskers. the nice green BG sets this off nicely as well. Thanks for contributing to this weeks motif.

The comment about his breath cracked me up too! Really good shot, Harvey. I especially like the array of whiskers.

I smiled at the image and laughed at your comment. He does look like he needs to have his teeth cleaned... :)

Nice timing.

Great capture for the reasons the others have said. Funky breath- I'm sure that's an understatement!
