Rock Cut - Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
EOS 1Ds, 24-70, ISO 125

I have been to Rocky Mountain National Park about 10 times over the years and I have never once seen a sunset until last Saturday night due to afternoon clouds, rain and thunderstorms. Here is a shot shooting back to the Southeast just before the sun went down.

Very nice. This gives me a chance to ask you about your new avatar which I can't make out and is driving me crazy.

Interesting foreground. It could almost be anywhere.
Seems you change your avatar more often than I've been changing rolls of film lately.

Your posts of RMNP have me itching in anticipation for next month. Good photo here framing the back peak with the foreground.
