My photographs aim at being true, not at being beautiful because, what is true is most often beautiful.

I like this one a lot! Personal preference would have been to turn the camera to the left a degree or two to move the roch a bit off center at the bottom.

Very dramatic, a real sense of movement. Almost monochromatic except for that little bit of blue sky!

Mark,

What is going on here?! :o
I thought this was way too traditional for your taste...

Great lighting, wonderful sky and reflection, interesting layers in the distant hills and a slight tension from the centered rock in the FG. I like it a lot!

This is a nice shot, the rock is an important element. However, the horizon does not apper to be level. Easy to fix in PS.

Mark, this is cool. I like the rock in the FG. The whole image has a monochrome feel except for the warm, red rock...Nice.

The red rock is also a nice balance to the blue patch in the sky.

I thought so too at first but it is - look at the left side where the land is not coming toward the camera - the water line is level. On the right where the land is coming toward the camera it looks sloped but that is what its supposed to do.

Me like! Rock a bit centered, but leads nicely into the image.
