Too simple?

I liked the contrast of warm light and blue sky reflection. Is it too simple?
Cropped a little left and top.

No i think it is pretty good! Only if you had a wee bit more color (some more colored moss or something), would the picture be better. I like the composition and my mind immediatelly goes off to find shapes.

I like it but since its a study in texture, I think a monochrome treatment would take it up a notch.

I agree with EJ. A BW treatment and a bump in contrast would bring out more of those nice textures.

One minor bother is the dark area in the LLC.

Thanks guys. I hadn't even thought of b&w for this one, and I've been dying to try it with the right shot. Will have to give it a go.
