Twentymile River - Smoky Mountains National Park, North Carolina
EOS 1Ds, 24-70, ISO 100

The Twentymile Trail on the North Carolina side of the Smokies is a really nice place for flowing water shots - here is one that I still had on my laptop. Sorry I haven't participated as much this week as I am saddled with 16K connection speed.

Yeah yeah, .................... great comp, color, etc. ............... typical awesome EJ type shot! :)
It is the depth that really grabbed me right from the start, and even the light and details in the shadows back in the upper left corner.
Wonderful!!!

Did you happen to use Photoshop's shadow/highlight feature in this shot in any way?

Again, ................ love this one EJ!!

Thanks!

I don't think I did use Shadow/Highlight on this one but definitely used curves to select specific tonal ranges.

I don't know why this didn't get more responses, as I think it is very nice. I especially like the apparent differential light on the green moss.

I am with richard here EJ. Nice and simple with a good diagonal from lower left to upper right.
