Persian Leopard
Captive
EOS300D, Sigma 180 Macro , iso 200, ev-2/3, 1/250, f3.5, 550EX +BB @ -2/3, handheld

I have over 1000 images to wade through from yesterdays visit to the leopard collection, so it'll be a while before I get to the cubs :(

In the meantime, here's a persian from the same collection. I found that I had too much focal length at this location as we were able to shoot through holes in the wire, specifically made for photographers. I have a 300F4 or a 28-70, but nothing in between. I ended up having to use Carol's 180 macro.

Comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Gorgeous photograph. Wonderful light, perfect techs and nice green in the background. Add a touch of catchlight and you have it all. Perhaps a smidgen of room on the bottom if available otherwise solid as always.. Looks like a 70-200 should be coming your way!

Love the Leopards. Nice closeup and very sharp too. A bit tight on the bottom I agree but the detail is fantastic. 8)

A fine portrait! Amazing DOF for f/3.5, but wonderfully sharp. Nice job.

This is a drop dead gorgeous portrait. Geez....1000 more images to work with? Now that would be a true labor of love. What a day you two had!!!!

1000 shots in a day! Must have been some day, especially judging by this shot which I love. Cracks me up though, shooting a leopard with a 180 macro - and still looking for more room! (When can I come visit? :) )
