Welcome!

Nice first post. The cloud action is great. I also like the BW feel to it as well.

I think this is a great first post!

I love the layered cloud feel and the play of light through the clouds.

I have viewed this image a couple of times and it is continuuing to grow on me. I love the tone and the mood very much. But it's the quality of light through those clouds that is really mesmerizing.

Is this really the color of the scene or did you do some PS work to get the steely tone? Either way it is very nice.

I'll bet this makes a wonderful print. Congratulations on a great image and first post!

Concur with Jenny! It's the quality of the light plus the depth given by the cloud in the lower right. Nicely captured.

The things what i have done is that i cropped the forest out from the bottom of the picture and then i made a curves-layer and put it to overlay, and opacity around 50%. And ofcourse the usual, USM!

So the original was little pit less contrasted yeah!

I hope you understand my english (i'm form Finland)! :)
