Lupine and Mount Moran

Mount Moran - Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
EOS 1Ds, 24-70 @ 38mm, 1/30, f/18, ISO 160

The clouds here were the precursor to the huge snow storm that struck on June 10 in NW Wyoming. It made for some dramatically dark skies and reduced the contrast range to adequately capture this scene.

I GUESS there were some flowers! The colors are so rich they stand out beautifully. The other benefit of the clouds is that you weren't fighting your shadow being in the best composition :lol:

Love it E.J. The Tetons are so photographed it is hard to come up with original shots. The colors are fantastic.
