Cedar Falls, another view

The more I looked at my other shot of this falls, the more I agreed with those of you who didn't like the dark rock in the foreground. Here is another shot I took the same morning.

D100, 18-35 @26, 2.5 sec @f20

Looks nice, but my tired eyes think a little more contast is needed.

Beautiful scene! Perhaps rather than a contrast adjustment, warming the scene might give it a bit more impact but its very nice as is.

Beautiful shot, Skip!

I DO like this better than the other version. Now the FG isn't so overpowering and I can get up close and personal with the waterfall.

I agree about the contrast, but understand your position, though I believe what I'm actually seeing is a slight blue cast overall. As a quick test I tried auto levels in PS and the difference was dramatic!
