Well, really about an hour outside of Yosemite :)

I like the pose of the cat but think the large shadow in the lower right detracts from the image.

I like the pose of the cat, the lighting and the detail. Compositionally, I'd have preferred the cat's head at the right of the frame and more cat to the left instead of the boulders. My taste anyway.

I like what you tried to do here by framing the cat in the space between the rocks, but for my taste there is just a little too much rock and not enough cat - especially as the cat is looking out of the frame too. 8) :)

For my tastes, I like the comp with the cats head between the indentation in the rocks on the right eye. It would be stronger if the cat was looking to its left or straight at the camera. The shadow is a tough one though...but maybe it could be softened with some ps work. Thanks for posting..
