Here is a short video I shot while observing the Gibbon (according to the ranger) pack on an Elk carcass in Yellowstone last week.
I was with a Shoot the Light group and it was towards the end of the day. As we were driving by in our snow coach a ranger waived us over and this is what we saw.
The footage was shot with a 1dmark4 using a 600mm lens plus 1.4x teleconverter. It was a long way off. ISO was 800. (I know, the river is flowing uphill :) )

It was quite an experience.

Way Cool!!!!!!!!!!! It certainly was a highlight of the workshop.

Hope Jan is doing well. And, whatever it is you did "stay happy" -lol

Mike,

This was fun to watch again and closer than with my setup. I like the bonus ducks swimming up the river and the crow flying through. It was fun sharing this experience with you and thanks for posting it here.
