Vimeo bans putting ads or links to a commercial site in your clip. This guy is trying to say that that includes ads on your own website (separate from the player) as well. I don't think that is the case. It sounds like he was clearly violating there TOS and is in a snit about their reaction.

I like Vimeo rather than You Tube because it is not cluttered with ads and commercial links. Vimeo could probably make there rules clearer though. I suspect that they leave them a bit ambiguous so that the people who want to use it to sell windows don't game it.

me too...and besides that, Vimeo seems to load faster too and load in HD whenever possible unlike youtube I always have to select after they start loading in lower settings.

I get locked out occasionally for youtube as well, I dunno is that browser issue or the web. They would load halfway and the video hangs.
