A detail of one of the many small streams that currently meander through Tuolumne Meadows. The bright green lichens attracted me to this spot, and as I came closer I discovered the icicles on the twigs near the water.

I used a 3-stop ND, but the water didn't get quite as blurry as I'd hoped it would. It's ok here, but for future shots like this I ordered a 6-stop ND.

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Jens, there seem to be some neat water effects; however, the contrast is severely off and it is hard to get past that. You might want to check with some others and try a repost after checking your settings.

Yeah this is a tough scan. The details are nice though.

The black point looks way off. Otherwise the composition is nice.
