From a recent road trip. I saw another photographers shot of this from last summer and we must have used the same tripod holes. His was a little more lush in the greens and perhaps a 24mm vs my effective 22.5mm.
He also had more water blur due to using velvia 50 vs my digital iso100.

I think in different light this would have more appeal. The composition is fine but it seems like the sun was a bit high in the sky making it a bit contrasty and is probably part of the reason that the other photog's images were a bit silkier in the water too.

I have to agree with Dan. This is the wrong light for this image. The looming composition is good though.
