Has anyone tried those generic batteries off of ebay? Is there a 3rd party battery that is as good as the OEM? Prices between them and Canon OEM make me at least consider them as an option. My current OEM battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge as good as it used to. Any strong reason why I should get the OEM? or 3rd party? Thanks,

I use the Lenmar replacement battery. It holds a charge well and it is well designed to fit the 1D2. You can get them from Amazon for about $38.
