The Channel Islands off of Southern California have been referred to as the Galapagos of California. Last weekend, I went with the Cetacean Society of America on a whale watching trip. It was interesting and for the first time, I saw breaching whales in person. On our way, we came across this sea lion clowning for us by the boat. IT was fun to watch and I got a few shots.
