...and i wasn't sure where else to put it...
i miss the iow on the front page
i love the big slideshow of the ioy's but now i am dependent on the top of a forum page to notice the iow change each week. i don't mind that it is not announced on a regular known basis (ie., every sunday night or whatever), but that is the very reason i appreciated the front page - i quickly recognized the change there. i also thought it was a nice treat as an iow winner to be displayed there however brief and small
i know there is an iow forum, and that it has been moved to a prominent location, but i also enjoyed the brief front page moment of glory and often that was what made me notice the new ones.

The IOW will return the front page soon. We took it down only temporarily as we display the images of the year there.

Why has NSN stopped publishing IOW Honors for the last 1 month or so ? It used to be a great to see gorgeous photos in one place every week.

Funny, I was just looking to see if I could find a reason myself. Hope it comes back soon!!

I apologize, but there is a new system we are putting in place to make it easier for the moderators to nominate and pick the images of the week as the process proved laborious in the past. That system will be in place in the next week or so at which time we will catch up and post all the selections for the last month or so. We will then be able to make our selections in a timely manner thereafter.

WOW, you guys did some rockin and rollin today, thanks for all the hard work on the IOW!!!!

The new system is in place and I have processed all the images of the week up until this week. Our plan will be to select the images of the week sometime during the week following the week the images are posted (if that makes sense.)

I will leave the announcements up for a week or so for all the back-logged IOW's..
