Bat-eared Fox pup
Maasai Mara, Kenya

In the same area that we found the cheetahs I posted a few days ago we also found a bat-eared fox family and the vehicle i was in spent almost 2 hurs with them. With the overcast/rainy conditions the BEFs stayed active well into the day giving us a lot of photo ops.

Nikon N90s with Tamron 200-500 MF zoom, Sensia 100, cropped about about 10% on all sides.

Very cute and very fortunate to spend quality time with them. Those eyes rock!

Another top cuteness award winner! I love the fierce look in amongst that cuteness. This is wonderful. Kenya surely has some amazing wildlife. I'm glad you went there to capture it for us!

Okay, so it's a cuteness contest you want... Wait'll you see my next post. 8)

Nice shot. Can I photograph one of them in the California desert?

What a fantastic opportunity you had. I'm really jealous of all your great Africa pics you have. I only hope we are half as lucky this year.

An excellent shot in every way. :)

The eyes and ears make it, but I think those ears have a bit of growing to do! :) Right off the cuteness scale.

Rich

P.S. While you're on a "green trip" review, wasn't it more difficult to spot animals on that trip with - I'm presuming - much additional foliage? Couldn't tell by your shots though.
