This image was frame number 5 in a burst of 9 frames. I was taking shots of the GBH in flight and was very surprised when he dove at the egret. My exposure was based on the GBH so there was no way that the white egret would be properly exposed. The exposure was eval -2/3. In those lighting conditions I was exposing white egrets in the sun at eval -1 2/3. To answer the question about the next frame the GBH actually elevated a few feet and dove at the egret again, who then hunched down at this attack. I want to thank everyone for their kind comments.
