Cardon cactus dominated parts of the landscape during a drive trip through Baja California in December 2001.

I can't remember much about the specs except it was shot on film, either Velvia or Provia 100f. Probably minus 1/3 or so to add to the moodiness. We didn't get any actual storms but the sky was interesting most of the time.

The light is gorgeous on this Lillian! You've got that main cactus placed very nicely in the frame. Love the feel of this one. Was it late evening when you got this? The sky is steely and very beautiful.

Probably late evening but could have been early morning instead, I really can't recall. It was an awesome trip but all the scenery was so new to me it kind of blurs together.

Thanks for the comments! :)

The sky struck me at first! Great stuff. I might try this as a B&W too.
