Amur Tigers
Captive
EOS300D, Sigma 100-300 F4 + 1.4TC, ISO 400, 1/2000 @ F8. Natural Light.

Last time we went to see the Tigers they were enjoying some sun on an otherwise cold day. These two were playing tag, with one hiding and the other stalking. Each game ended in a great display of affection with soft growling and nuzzling. Spring is in the air!

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Great shot! This would've been fun to witness in person.

Really nice capture, Carol -- the interaction comes across very clearly and you did a great job getting sharpness throughout.

Awwww. They look so playful. Must have been fun to watch; they're certainly fun to see here.

I sense some extraordinary focus magic in the digital darkroom. :)
