Ring Tailed Lemur
Captive
EOS30, Sigma 100-300 F4,

Back in the film days again for this last eye motif shot. I couldn't close the week without including this wonderful little Lemur. This is one of the troup who roam freely all over the South Lakes Wild Animal Park in the Lake District, NW UK. They swing, run and race from tree to tree and its so great they are not caged in any way, other than the outer perimeter fence around the park.

All comments and critiques always welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking.

Great "Are you looking at me" look. I love the glowing eyes as well. Thanks for posting again to the motif.

I think a square crop would work well with this image. Even though this is scanned from film, I think you could still bring out a little more detail in the shadow-side of the face in PS, if of course you wanted to. Nice as is though.

Best wishes

Well done Carol. Getting light into the right eye even on the shadow side was the key. The shadows provide nice depth. I want to try to photograph this species this summer.. Thanks for contributing.
