Southwest, eh? I suppose this qualifies.
Until recently only a select few people knew about this spot. Photographers who found it named it things like "Madonna" or "Towers of Silence". To me it looked like a spooky ghost.

I believe I've seen this before. :)

Great shot, Guy. This version of it seems to be suffering from the compression necessary to get it down to this size. I remember this being much richer with detail (I have no doubt that the original is); I'm sure this is a function of Web viewing.

They do look like some alien lifeform. This must look great large. One day we'll have huge plasma screens and lf photos will finally look like they're supposed to on the internet.

Guy,

Excellent! Your image definitely captures the essence of a location that I must admit I think of as my own.

Does anyone else see the images of people in the cracks of the wall? Especially on the left.

What a great looking hoodoo! Image looks a little bright on my (uncalibrated) monitor. I imagine a large print of this looks just awesome and reflects your workmanship much better than this little web image can!
Excellent.

Great shot, Guy! The subtle colors and brilliant textures really make this a winner in my book.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Hi Guy,

I saw this one earlier today, but it looks like your server has gone down since. This is a fabulous picture that really has your touch (so don't worry too much if it becomes an icon place in the future as long as visitors care for it!!).

Guy,

your server looks to be still having problems .. a big fat red X here .. but it looks like it has too much USM .. well framed though. :D

hope the problem is fixed soon, I wanna see your image, bro'!

Cheers

Hey Guy

I see it now .. its a nicely composed shot of an interesting formation, but doesn't hold my interest for long. Not of your better images, IMO.

Cheers

Guy,

Maybe it's just my monitor (since noone else have commented on this before) but I am a bit distracted by the color merge between the Hoodoo and the brownish segment of the rock behind it.

Otherwise very nice, of course.
