Motif: Luna moth

This was taken last summer. Certainly seem to fit the motif. I was after a tight shot that would be more of pattern than documentary. I love these moths.
EOS 1Ds, 180mm macro, f/29, 1/200 sec, two flashes with diffusers.

Beautiful.

I've only seen these moths one time in my life, as a teenager (thirty years ago! :shock: ). I want to get back east sometime and photograph them. So many bugs, so little time! :lol:

Very neat shot Wil! I have seen these moths a few times but each time they were on the downside of life and faltering in a parking lot! I would love to see one in all it's glory....
