Yes, .................. a madness of lines and color.
I like shooting these flowers looking straight down on top of all those petal ridges with the 100mm macro & 50mm reverse. I can get hundreds of abstract lines and shapes, and only do I start looking for composition when I look into the viewfinder. Really does not matter to me much what is in focus and what is not. I just try to get some of the edges in focus, and let the rest fall into place. The front of the lens is 1/4" from the flower, and the view you see here or the coverage area is less than 1/4". Canon Rebel 300D Canon 100mm macro, extension tube, & 50 Nikkor lens in reverse Window light, tripod, macro slider, reflectors 1/50 sec. @ f2.8 ISO 400 Thanks for looking gang! Mike [b]Michael Brown
