Two Stamen (I think)

I'm calling these stamen, but I was a microbiology major, not a regular biology major so please correct me if I'm wrong. ;) Shot this one last week while testing out the 180mm Sigma. Hope you like it!

Nice shot Matt. I really like the side lighting. It brings out lots of detail on the closer stamen. Great BG too.

Knockout colors and excellent detail in the pollen area of the stamen. Very nice!!
If there were one thing I might try, would be to use the blur tool in PS to blur the stamen in the back a little more, as it competes a little bit with my eyes and the other stamen.
Still, this is very nice Matthew!! 8)

Looks like you are going to create some great stuff this year with the new toy .......... (sigma)!

Matt, I really like the composition and the colors are fabulous. Enjoy the 180, it's a fine lens.
