Just wanted to thank Eric Chan for the excellent article on printing on the home page - well written and very informative. Thanks Eric for taking the time to do this. Articles like this are one of the many reasons why NSN is so great.

Eric,

I belive your article is probably the best primer on the subject I have seen so far. Very clear and thorough - (Can't believe I didn't have to pay for something like this!) Thanks again for the effort, now at least I understand how it's supposed to work.

Now back to getting my old ip8500 to print like the soft-proof...

I've read many articles pointed to in these forums, I have Bruce Frasier's book, and I have to say Eric, your article is accessible, straight forward, to the point, comprehensive, intelligible and darn it - just well written!

I've been contemplating buying my first ink jet and although my mind is just about made up on getting the HP B9180, I find it reassuring that there is an article like yours to confirm that everything I've learned and set up in my work flow comes together so simply. All that time spent reading and learning will be put to good use when I finally make the jump and get the printer.

Thanks! And can't wait to read your follow-up articles.
Philippe
