Motif: Spider eats Spider

Here's a Spitting spider eating a funnel web tarantula. I have several shots showing the whole spitting spider, but the legs are so long that you can't see everything when backed off. So, I added some more extension and got closer. I like the closer one better even with the cropped legs. Notice spitting spiders have only 6 eyes. Taken in the rainforest of Trinidad and Tobago at night.

Terrific action shot. I don't mind the crop here as it focuses on the action. The legs are incidental to the action.
