While going for a little Christmas afternoon drive we happened upon this deer playing in the snow. I don't really have much experience with shooting larger animals so all comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome! Thanks for looking. :)

Looks like a white - and very productive - Christmas in Ohio! Snow really makes this shot special, and I like how you've got the deer in a space without many weeds between you. I would like just a bit more room for his/her virtual legs - but I would take it as is also.

I guess you had a white Christmas! A nice shot - a bit of a magenta cast.

Nice snowy deer. A color correction in PS and this would be even better.

I think the repost is better but both are real nice.

Very nice. Because the branches in the UL corner are darker than the tone of the rest of the image they are a minor distraction. Well done.

Very very nice shot. I really like the large clumpy falling snow. What do you think about getting rid of the branches upper left? Great day for photos!

Sweet shot Laura and nice composition, for me it just needs a little more contrast to boost the colour and then it would really pop. 8)

Laura, very nice, and the repost is an improvement. Looks like you had a much whiter Christmas than I did!

Wonderful! Seems to have a slight magenta cast still on the second one, but it could be me 8) .
