Wil, what a beautiful sight. It looks as though the deer has stopped to have a look also (and maybe wishing she had a camera :) ). Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks, This was a very special morning. It was 15F and very windy. I was taking shots of the sunrise and kept moving around to get some different foreground elements. It was a few minutes before I noticed that there was a doe near me. I moved over to get her in the shot. As usual she was eating all the time. I was using 2 second self timer and mirror lock up. As I hit the release she looked up, as if looking at the sunrise, I was hoping that it would just take the photo and it did before she went back to eating. At ISO 200, f/11, and about 1 second exposure I was so glad to see that she remained still during the exposure. I was using a 24-70mm lens at 24mm. In PS I had to lighten the foreground a little to make her visible.
