Neat shot- I like the totally saturated hair on its face and the water running off the chin.

There was a bear down in McNeil 2 years ago that probably used the same fishng technique. It looks as if this guy would leave his ears sticking above the water since they're not wet nor is the hair between the ears.

Hey Dick,

Bears have so much character in their faces, I love images of them.

The light looks typical katmai light, I'm surprised you got the s/s you managed here. I'd play with the image some more in P/S and see what you can do with it.

Good catch Dick, that water looks cold so rather the Bear than me in there!! but they do love a bath!! whether there are Salmon in there or not.

This one doesn't look that old to my inexperienced eye, as it appears remarkable unmarked.
